blahness

Did you know that the name of the phobia of long words is Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

I found that too funny...

Bio was...hahaha...quite weird. Really vague paper. Its possible that I've done decently. On the other hand, its equally possible that I've done miserably. So...we'll see.

Tomorrow chem - 11 chapters. Aargh!!! Anyone who has actually passed 12th standard...please tell me. How are you supposed to study organic chemistry? Its so completely pointless. Even if you spend hours on it, you never end up knowing anything. Stupid bukwaas. And the best part is that the whole of organic chem is only for 7 marks in the board. But you still can't chuck it. Irritating....

Anyway...
Anyone and everyone who has ever set foot into Chennai has seen at least a few of the fantastic signboards and profoundly named stores here. Here are a few signs that I've seen or heard of that are just hilarious...

1. At an AC Veg Restaurant: The manager has personally passed all the water served here

2. At a Hotel : Visitors are expected to complain here between 9 an 11 AM daily.

3. At a Dry Cleaner's Shop : Drop your trousers here for best results!

4. At a washroom in a restaurant : To stop drip, turn cock to the right

5. At a tailors shop : Ladies may have a fit upstairs

6. Detour Sign: Stop : Drive sideways

7.Clothing Shop Entrance : Here speeching English

8.Notice in a Bar : Customers are requested not to have children in the bar

9. Doctor's Office : Specialist in women and other diseases

10. In front of a public toilet : Uranals Hir

I love Chennai!!!!!!!!!!

What a double take. Thank god you have'nt mentioned the names of the shops.
And i think Organic is for a bit more than 7 marks in the boards...

exactly 7 marks. check the syllabus.

it is.

but the point is, in skool ur not going to have a bloddy clue abt what she's asking... whereas in the boards, ur gnnna score 7/7 even if u've jst read thru the chapters...

..chem sucks anyway... when u think ur gnna flunk, u pass...a nd when ur confident u'll pass, you'll score more in ur pracs on 30 than in ur theory on 70...

..im being grandma again..
all the best!!1

chennai stinks. especially cuz
there r a lot of american wannabes
and it will b a nice place. if we can live 2 learn with our own culture and not with others. and i want to tell u. i m living in US and that culture is not so good. so if india people want 2 be american wannabes, 2 bad for them.
i liked india the way it was b4 all this fuckin crap started. india is known best for its culture but not anymore

This anonymous has some problems, and I have no idea what this post has to do with "american wannabes". My God.

By the way, I highly doubt that you wrote this post. I think it's more likely it's a forward... because it's a very perfect collection of double-meaning signs that are actually very hard to find, in chennai, or anywhere else. Mostly you just find spelling error. Like Laxmi Iorn Saap (Laxmi Iron Shop) or Vadivel Tosaa Cornar (I've actually seen that one, and can't figure out for the life of me how someone can misspell Dosa as Tosaa.)

a few of them ive seen and the others people have told me about...no forward or anything...

the other day, me, rad and thifa had gone to get a xerox somewhere and there was an ad for 'mami's mess' in which one of the main items were 'rasap powder' and 'tall'

HAHAAA
